This year the Amarnath Yatra started on 30th of June 2022. Was fortunate to get the yaatra permit for the first day itself. After doing personal research had come to know that the place would be very cold so had packed accordingly. We started our climb towards Amarnath Cave around 7.00 a. m. in the morning. There was some diversion enroute due to landslide so the 13km had become 18km walk for us. The climb is very steep so it is not very easy. Sooner the sun came out the weather became very hot. Layer by layer the cloths were tied around the neck it was sapping our energy. Enroute there were many bhandaras which was a welcome respite. Soon from mineral water we started drinking water from any available source on route. By the evening we were fully covered by dust. All tired and then saw the orange painted wall with Amarnath Gufa written on it. New enfused energy reached on time to attend Arti in the evening. Then stayed back there to attend arti in the morning. So had darshan twice in one trip. Please carry lots of wet issue. Have mask to protect from dust rather than corona. Apply lots of sunscreen as all of us came badly sun tanned.

I stayed with my family for two nights in the hotel. It is small budget hotel offering all basic amenities but lacks cleanliness in dinning area and other common area. rooms are good to send night with AC working fine. Breakfast timings do not suit most of persons going early to Vaisno Mata visit by Helicopter. Front desk is congested bur services are satisfactory. Basement parking is available for cars.Food quality is also average.

Maybe the rate is low because of that but the Hotel service was very poor. There were a lot of cockroaches. I went on a family vacation and had booked 3 rooms and all the three rooms had cockroaches beside the sofa and under the bed. The hotel inter comm was not working in one of the room and even there was no wake-up call or reminder for breakfast. When we reached 15 minutes late for breakfast they denied serving breakfast saying the time is over. We had already paid the money for breakfast while booking via OYO. Hotel location was good, it has a market nearby and 700 meters away from the yatra ticket counter. The walls in the room and bathroom were damped.

I stayed at the property last year and booked through OYO as I got a good value for money deal. Check in was smooth and the manager was super friendly. However, bed linen was not clean and seems was not changed for the last few stays. Property is close to the railway station but Banganga is too far and unfortunately, the hotel does not provide pick up and drop facility as other budgets hotel does in that area. Overall, nice property to stay.

Initially i was not very happy with the hotel but some factors brought down my dissatisfaction and thus i am giving the average rating. Pros: 1. Good Location. Calm at the same time near the market. 2. Food taste and serving size were good. we tried only breakfast. 3. Big rooms 4. Have cab facility Cons: 1. Rooms and bathrooms need repair. it doesnt look clean. 2. rooms are weirdly coloured , ours was Blue. thus it doesnt give pleasant feeling
